Bands and Proms in Ross on Wye Park 2018

Ross town council is pleased once again to be bringing the free series of summer concert back to the Bandstand. 2017 was an excellent year and saw the introduction of a more varied selection of bands.  

This Year is no exception, with the introduction of a swing band which we hope you will all enjoy. the dates have been extended too and will include a proms style event to rival the Albert hall.

This years concerts start on the 20th May with Ross own Town Band so put the date in your Dairy and come join us, bring a picnic basket and make it a full afternoon, even if the weather takes a turn we will still continue so bring an umbrella, the bands will start from 2.30pm to 4.30pm every sunday, with the proms event being held on the 22nd July from 1pm to 8.30pm, so please bring your chairs picnics, hats and flags and your set to have an enjoyable day.

20th May Ross town band, 27th May Jaycee Big Band, 3rd June A.W.Parker Drybrook Band, 10th June Bream silver band, 17th June Forest of Dean brass, 1st July Frampton silver band, 8th July Cinderford Town Band, 15th July JJ Swing Band, 29th July Parkend Silver band, 5th August Pillowell Silver Band, 12th August Gloucester Brass, 19th August Pandemonium Steel Pans, 26th August Ebbw valley Brass. Remember all these dates are on a Sunday, so come rain or shine we will be there and hope you will be as well.
