The Courtyard Theatre Hereford Gilbert and Sullivan Society present The Mikado March 20 to 23rd 2019

Join the multiple award-winning Hereford Gilbert and Sullivan  Society for their production of  The Mikado , a topsy-turvy musical satire of English society set in the fiction town of Titipu. Featuring some of the iconic duo’s best known songs including Three Little Girls and I’ve got a Little List, it is the story of some unlucky star-crossed lovers, a less that satisfactory quota of beheadings and the county jail and one enormous conspiracy.

The Courtyards pantomime is back with a “Beast” of a show!

Beauty’s family have fallen on hard times and when her father hears a chance to regain some of his fortune, he sets off on a long journey. On his way home, empty-handed and without gifts he promised, he gets lost in the forest and takes refuge in a mysterious castle. As he is leaving in the morning, he sees a beautiful rose and picks it to take home. Little does he know that the master of the house, a fearsome beast has decreed the penalty of picking the roses is death. The beast promises to spare the fathers life if his beautiful daughter comes to live with him at the castle. But what will happen to Beauty and will she ever find true love? Continue reading

The Cavern Beatles 9th September 2015

The Courtyard theatre will have The Cavern Beatles performing on the 9th September 2015. The Cavern Beatles  band members, as well as being talented instrumentalists and singers, are hugely dedicated Beatles fans, intent on recreating their individual character to an unprecedented standard.

Countless hours of study and rehearsal have gone into the show, which emulates with uncanny detail and meticulous accuracy, the rise of the greatest band in the world, even down to the use of genuine 1960’s instruments!

Taking an inspiration from L. Frank Baum’s original 1900 novel ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’.  Join Dorothy, The Tin Woodsman, The Lion and The Scarecrow battling against the Wicked Witch of The West and her clever cat in this new take on an old tale.

As part of our ‘Over The Rainbow’  project of performances, workshops and qualifications the members of our sister Youth Theatre, Bromyard’s Conquest Senior Youth Company have worked their silver slippers off to bring you a classic tale with a twist.
