Monmouth Food Festival- Saturday 20th- Sunday 21st May

The draw this year is a chef’s theatre, where you can watch the best local talent whip up masterpieces. A producers Market with over 30 stalls representing the best of local food will send you home with full bags and tummy’s. The Monmouthshire youth service will once again be hosting the children’s corner. The Quarter promotes healthy alternatives to high fat and sugar snack food and drink as well as creating activities where young people can have fun.

Ledbury big breakfast- yum yum yum

Lighten the January gloom with a delicious breakfast featuring local food in Ledbury!
This year Ledbury will be celebrating breakfast on Friday 29th January and Saturday 30th January.
Food shops, butchers, cafes and hotels in and around Ledbury will be providing a wide range of local breakfasts, including specials for the day.
Last year 20 local businesses took part presenting all kinds of breakfast treats – this year there could be even more variety for you to eat in or take home.
This event celebrates that most important of meals – breakfast, and what we at the Ledbury food Group consider important – good locally produced food and drink. It is held in conjunction with the national Breakfast Week campaign to encourage more people to enjoy a good nutritious meal at the start of the day.

Ludlow Spring Festival May 8th-10th

Come and meet some of the 50+ brewers that supply the 200 plus barrels of real ale at the festival. They’re available to answer all your questions and give out samples over the weekend behind the bar.

What’s on at Ludlow Spring Festival 2015?

We are working hard to sign up tasty food producers, quaffable beers, stunning cars and toe tapping music ready for another fantastic event inside Ludlow Castle on the 9th and 10th May 2015. INSIDE LUDLOW CASTLE

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD
Not just beer, bread and bangers, you will find plenty of stalls featuring top quality food and drink from small producers up and down the Marches, the Welsh border country. Products that have been produced on a small scale by people who really care that their food and drink should taste good, and be produced with care for the environment. You won’t find big brands or supermarkets here! More about the ‘Festival Pub’ and List of Exhibitors.

BEER FESTIVAL – organised by SIBA (The Society of Indepedent Brewers Association) takes place inside the ‘Festival Pub’.  190+ different real ales on draught (bottles too) from independent breweries from Wales and the border counties. Each brewer’s entry will be part of the SIBA Wales & West Competition. More about the ‘Festival Pub’ List of Exhibitors here.

FESTIVAL PUB & GREAT MUSIC

When you arrive in the Outer Bailey, head for the large Festival Pub marquee where you can get your bearings, pick up your beer tokens, grab a pint or glass of wine and prepare yourself for a relaxing, fun-filled day. The Festival Pub is also the venue for live music and a focal point for the show. Cheers.

OVER THE WEEKEND – MARCHES TRANSPORT FESTIVAL – 31 years old in 2015!

The Outer Bailey is also the place to see an impressive display of classic and vintage vehicles, some dating back to the early years of the last century. Gleaming bodywork, exceptional engines and enthusiastic owners will be the order of the day. Take your time to browse fine examples of motoring heritage and learn how vehicles have been lovingly restored by their owners. Full details here.

Flavour of Herefordshire Food Festival
Come and enjoy Herefordshire’s 6th annual food festival weekend, which promises to be a tasty time out for all the family.
Coinciding with harvest time, the festival celebrates all that is scrumptious about the county and almost 100 producers will be exhibiting their home-grown, artisan made fayre, giving you the chance to meet the makers, growers and chefs behind the county’s very best flavours.

With the area being world famous for its Hereford cattle and cider, you can also meet some of this year’s newly presented regional food award winners, jubilant from their success. Sample their prepared produce, hot and cold, and stock up your larders from the Food Pavilion and Farmer’s Market shopping areas.

 Get mouth-watering inspiration as you watch demonstrations in the live cookery theatres and feast your eyes and your palette on someone very special in the gourmet world- culinary genius and celebrity chef, Jean Christophe Novelli.

In the Year of the Orchard, the Flavours of Herefordshire Food Festival returns to Hereford Race Course for the weekend of Saturday, 22nd October and Sunday 23rd October, 2011.The Chef-in-Residence will be Jean-Christophe Novelli, who will be demonstrating his skills in the Food Theatre each day. Dubbed ‘the nation’s favourite French Chef’, his career started aged 14 as a baker in his home town of Arras, moving to Paris as the private chef of Elie de Rothschild and then to Keith Floyd’s pub the Maltsters in Devon.Jean-Christophe opened several London restaurants and one in Cape Town & Normandy, winning 4 consecutive Michelin stars along the way.
