over 4o stalls of seasonal gifts, food, local crafts and tasty treats. Coffee, mince pies and mulled wine.

Carols for shoppers at 1pm (Saturday)

All profits go to supporting a range of Herefordshire charities.

Tuesday 29: A Service for advent in London, 6.30pm- Hereford Cathedral choir in London at The Guards’ chapel, wellington Barracks in support of Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust, sponsored by Old Market Hereford and British Land. Wednesday 30th: Military wives ” Home for Christmas”, 7:30pm- join them for a spectacular concert from the famous Military wives choirs including Innsworth and Brize Norton choirs, performing in the cathedral as part of their national tour with a special guest support artist. Bromyard Christmas light SWITCH ON!

Bromyard’s “fabled Christmas Illuminations” are “reputed to be the best display in Herefordshire”.

It’s big talk from the little town but every year the Big Switch On attracts thousands of people – 2,500 packed into the High Street last year, for the event’s 50th anniversary.

Helping the crowds get their Festive Feels on is Santa’s grotto and carol singing.

A SANTA SPECIAL- The Dean Forest Railway.

St Mary’s Church Ross on Wye Christmas Tree Festival 23rd to 26th December 2012

Friday 23rd –  Christmas tree lights special, meet at the  Market Square in Ross on Wye  at 5.30 pm  to witness the  lighting of the Ross on Wye Christmas lights, collect your glow stick and and walk to  St Mary’s Church to view their  Christmas tree lights

Saturday  24th –  St Mary’s will be open 10 am to 4 pm – Christmas cards and goodies for sale, Christmas hamper draw. The Sound of the Tree s- a community concert will commence at 7.30 pm . Wine and light refreshments available. Tickets adults £5 children free .Tickets can be  purchased from St Mary’s church office, Rossiter Books in the High Street or at the door.

Sunday 25th –  Sung Eucharist at 9.30 am. 10 am to 4 pm, sale of Christmas cards and goodies, tea and coffee . Songs of Praise with Ross Town Band at 6.30pm.

Monday 26th-  10 am to 4.pm Christmas cards and goodies for sale.
