Ross Ramblers Association launches Top Ten Herefordshire Walks

Ten Top Herefordshire Walks

Hot off the Press!  their brand new book, Top Ten Herefordshire Walks, is now published, priced at £3.95. The book features walks all over the county, designed and researched by Ramblers members.Herefordshire is a wonderful place to walk, and whatever your preference, you should find a walk to suit you in this book. There are the slopes of the Black Mountains  and the Marches (Clodock, Kington ), the wilder commons and downs of Herefordshire (Coppett Hill, Bringsty/Brockhampton), the renowned black and white villages (Pembridge), Herefordshire’s famous churches (Kilpeck), the Wye valley itself (Breinton, Coppett Hill), the traditional rolling countryside (Coddington, Burghill) or the ancient woodlands of Lingen. Two of the walks (Breinton and Burghill) are close to the centre of Hereford, and many are accessible by public transport.  Most walks have some excellent pubs and cafes nearby or on the route, and we give details of these, together with local points of interest. They recognise that books like this can get outdated quite soon as conditions on the ground can change, they intend to update everyone by this website with details of any changes. To get your copy please contact Tom Fisher on 01886 821544 or e-mail tomfisher52@gmail.com
