Join us in giving Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh a royal Herefordshire welcome!
Herefordshire Diamond Day promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime event for the county, as we come together to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh will be greeted by a choir of a thousand voices, accompanied by a 90-piece band, and a stunning procession of dancers, cheerleaders, the Hop Pocket runners and town criers. Not to mention Ryleland sheep, a Hereford Bull, and Grand National winner, Mon Mome.
Diamond Day key details revealed!
10.00am Royal train arrives at Hereford train station
10.15am The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh arrive at Cathedral Close.
10.35am The Royal party leaves the cathedral by car
10.40am Arrive at King George V playing fields
11.15am The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh depart by car
