A SANTA SPECIAL- The Dean Forest Railway.

Visit the dean forest railway this Christmas for your chance to ride behind a real steam engine with santa and his helpers on board.

Price- £13 per head, children under 2 are able to travel free but will not get a gift or be allocated a seat. There are discounts if you book for a group of 20 or more people. Booking is essential as seats are reserved.

Each child ( over the age of 2) will receive an age related gift and there is even something to warm up the adults. There are Thomas the Tank gifts, stocking fillers, books and other novelties in the shop if you are still looking for that perfect Christmas gift.

Please make sure you leave plenty of time and arrive 30 minutes early before your allocated journey time. An administration fee of £5 will be charged for ticket alterations once booked.


Mince pie special- pop on over and visit the railway on the 27th or 31st December the 1st January to get some essential fresh air after Christmas and the New Year madness! Everyone receives a complimentary mince pie.

Dates- 5,6,12,13,19, 20 and the 24th of December 2014

Time- they will be running trains 3 times a day and each trip will last approximately one hour. these trips will depart 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm
